# Granting a Verifier Role to an Applicant

Give an existing Applicant a Verifier Role too, so they can act as both from one login.

There are two ways to do this:

### Add an existing Applicant to the Verifier's registration

Click **Registrations** in the top navigation, select **Verifiers** and click **View** on the Verifier. In the **Users** panel on the right, click **+ Add User**, then enter the Applicant's name and email address and click **Invite**. Because the Applicant already exists, Tahua adds them to the Verifier and grants them the Verifier Role.

You can also start from the Applicant's profile page: in the **Registrations** panel, click **+ Add to Registration**, search for the Verifier and click **Add to Registration**.

### Applicant initiates Verifier sign-up from the Applicant Portal

If you enable the ability for Verifiers to sign up themselves, an Applicant can add a Verifier Role using the "Create Another" process available in their portal.

When selecting "Who are you registering on behalf of," they should choose "I'm registering as a Verifier."

This skips Step 1 — Sign up, since the user already exists and has signed up.
