# Creating Tables

You can add a table as a Field Type when building templates.<br>

A few things to note:<br>

* When the Budget Column box is ticked, you can opt to have these fields auto populate into a "Show total" field.
* You can add a **Field Tag** to your whole table, or a **Cell Tag** to an individual column (by clicking on the column heading). These are different tag types, but both are available as Data Report options on Application and Milestone/Deliverables templates — a Field Tag on the whole table appears under **Tagged Deliverable Fields**/**Tagged Form Fields**, while a Cell Tag on an individual column appears under **Tagged Form Cells**. Cell Tags can also be used for personalisations in Contract and Letter templates. See [Personalisations & Field Tags](/knowledge-base/administrator-help-guides/applications/application-templates/personalisations-and-field-tags.md) for the full distinction.
