This article is for Administrators who would like to edit or duplicate an existing application form template.
Looking to create a brand new template instead? See Application Templates.
Click the 3 dots on the template you wish to edit.
If a template that you try to edit is in use (i.e. it already has one or more Applications submitted against it), some functions might be locked. This particularly affects Tables — you won't be able to add, remove, or reorder columns/cells on a Table field once the template is in use, since doing so could invalidate data already submitted against it. If you cannot edit how you wish, consider duplicating the template via the menu at the top right instead.
You can also create and manage templates via the templates menu.
Duplicating a template, page, section, or field does not fully carry across all of its configuration:
Field Events (conditional show/hide/require logic) are not duplicated at all — see Field Events.
Field Tags and Cell Tags are duplicated as-is, meaning the copy shares the exact same tag as the original — see Personalisations & Field Tags.
Review both after duplicating to avoid missing conditional logic or unintentionally merging reporting data between the original and the copy.
