Assessment Decisions

This article describes how you can add a decision step to your Assessment workflow in order to collect if an Assessor wants to participate and undertake an Assessment.

Assessment Round Setup - Decision Workflow

If you would like to give your Assessors the opportunity to decide if they want to Assess an Application before the Assessment happens, you can enable the decision workflow available in the Assessment Round setup.

Once this is enabled this will additionally give you the ability to define and select a form template for collecting additional information about the decision, such as a recommendation for alternative assessors.

You can change the decision text in the form template if required.

Assessment Process - Decision Workflow

Within the Assessment Process, if the Decision workflow is enabled, Assessors will be presented with the decision to assess before the Assessment itself.

Once the assessor has made their decision they will need to submit the decision on the following page.

• If the Assessor selected Yes, they will be able to proceed to the Assessment.

• If the Assessor selected No, they will not be asked to assess the Application and will return to their Dashboard. Additionally the Assessment record will have the status "Declined Assessment".

Note that this workflow is different from the workflow which enables an Assessor to declare a Conflict of Interest.

Reporting - Retrieving Decision Form Data

If you wish to retrieve decision form data supplied you can tag the fields within the decision form template and these tags will become available in the Assessment Data Source which can be pulled into your Data Reports.
