# Verifier & Institution Settings

In your Organisation Settings, you can choose to enable (or disable) different settings, depending on what capabilities you want your Institutions/Verifiers to have, including whether you want Institutions to be able to edit Applications assigned to them, whether Applicants need to submit their Applications to Institutions after which the Institution will assign to the Funder, whether the Letter of Offer has to be accepted by the Institution as well as the Applicant, and whether Milestones must be submitted to the Institution, prior to being submitted to the Funder.  There are also some newer privacy policy settings that have been added in December 2025, including determining what level of access an Institution has to Milestones (no access, read only or full access), and what level of access Institutions have to Contracts.
