Changing Your Email Address

This article is for Assessors who need to change the email address they sign in with and receive emails at.

Your email address is also your sign-in username, so changing it changes how you log in as well as where your assessment invitations and reminders are sent.

For your security, the change does not take effect straight away — you have to confirm it from the new address first.

1

Open your profile and edit the address

Click your initials at the top right of the page, click My Profile, and update the Email address field.

2

Save Changes

Click Save Changes. Your new address now shows underneath the field in orange, labelled Pending email change.

3

Confirm from your new inbox

Check the inbox of the new address and click the confirmation link in the email we send you.

Only once you have clicked that link does the change take effect.

If the confirmation email doesn't arrive

Check the junk or spam folder of the new address first — it's sent there, not to your old one.

If it still hasn't arrived, go back to My Profile and click Resend confirmation email, next to the pending address. Check the address for typos while you're there: if you mistyped it, simply correct it and click Save Changes again.

Changing which emails you receive, rather than where they go?

That's a separate setting. Your email preferences are further down the same My Profile page, and control which notifications Tahua sends you.
