# Confidentiality Agreements

Some organisations require Assessors to agree to a confidentiality agreement before assessing — reflecting that you may see sensitive or commercially confidential information as part of assessing. This is an organisation-wide setting, so whether it applies to you depends on the organisation running the Assessment Round, not on the individual Round itself.

If it applies, you'll see a "\[Organisation Name] Confidentiality Agreement" pop-up the first time you go to assess an Application in a given Assessment Round, asking you to read and agree to the terms before you can proceed.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Read the agreement

Review the confidentiality terms shown in the pop-up.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Tick the box and proceed

Tick the checkbox to confirm you agree to the organisation's Confidentiality Agreement, then click **Proceed**. You won't be able to continue until this is ticked.

{% hint style="info" %}
Depending on how your organisation has worded this, ticking the box may also serve to confirm you have no Conflict of Interest for that Assessment Round — read the terms carefully rather than ticking on autopilot.
{% endhint %}
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

This is a one-off step per Assessment Round, not per Application — once you've agreed, you won't be asked again for that same round.

{% hint style="info" %}
Not every organisation uses this feature — if you're never prompted for one, it simply isn't enabled for your organisation.
{% endhint %}
