April 24 - Assessment Sharing and Fund Management
Find out about the latest updates added to Tahua in April 2024
Assessment Sharing
If you have a collaborative assessment process that requires sharing assessment information between assessors, then this improvement could be for you.
We are now providing an ability for administrators to share assessments between each other as part of the Assessment Round setup. You can set exactly which assessments are shared with which assessors giving exact control over information sharing.
Once assessments have been shared with assessor(s) they are clearly presented to the assessors within their assessments page within the right hand menu.
Clicking on the shared assessments will present the assessor with the full details of the assessment.
Fund Management
We have introduced a new area of functionality called "Fund Management", which allows the creation and management of arbitrary funds. This includes the name, description, tags and a novel idea of whether the fund is anonymous which will scrub references to its name when used in communications to your applicants such as within your letters of offer or contracts.
Additionally we are providing a concise new screen to set your annual allocations for your funds. From this screen you are able to set the annual amount for distribution, add applications to your annual allocation sheet and assign allocation values for each of those applications.
This gives you the power to track how your money will be distributed in advance and whether you are over or under subscribed for your funds.
Please note that this feature is disabled by default for all customers; if you wish to give it a try don't hesitate to reach out.
Conflict of Interest Help Text
This is a small addition to allow you to set an optional block of help text for your assessors when they are declaring their conflicts of interest. This could be links to guidelines or anything else relevant to the COI process.
Add ability to undo approval states for Milestones & Conditions
We appreciate there are times that you need to undo Milestone or Condition approvals; this can now easily be done from the Milestone/Condition page within the right hand menu.
And there you have it — we hope you enjoy these features.
Until next time!
