Contracts could only be categorised using the built-in contract category system. Organisations needed a more flexible way to group and filter contracts along arbitrary dimensions such as priority, region, programme, or review status.
Administrators can now assign multiple free-form tags to contracts. Tags can be added during contract creation, edited inline on the contract detail page, and used to filter the contract index list.
Contract wizard: An optional tags field appears during contract setup. Existing tags are shown in a dropdown, and new tags can be created on the fly.
Contract detail page: Tags are displayed as badges and can be edited inline by clicking on them. A multi-select dropdown allows adding or removing tags without leaving the page.
The contract index page includes a tags filter in the Advanced Filters section. Selecting one or more tags filters the list to show only contracts with those tags. Filter selections persist across page navigation.
Tags are available as a filter dimension in the Report Builder, allowing administrators to create filtered contract datasets by tag.
Tags are case-insensitive and stored in lowercase.
A contract can have any number of tags.
Tags are organisation-scoped -- each organisation has its own tag vocabulary.
No special permissions are required beyond standard contract edit access.
