# Assess Grant Applications

This article is for Assessors who have been assigned an Application for assessment — start here for an overview of the process, then follow the links below for details on each step.

For each Assessment panel you've been assigned to, the process generally looks like this:

1. [**Understand your Dashboard**](/knowledge-base/assessor-help-guides/understanding-your-dashboard.md) — sign in, find your assigned Applications, and check their status.
2. [**Decide whether to assess**](/knowledge-base/assessor-help-guides/deciding-whether-to-assess.md) — if your Assessment Round asks for it, confirm you're willing to assess this Application.
3. [**Declare a Conflict of Interest**](/knowledge-base/assessor-help-guides/conflict-of-interest.md) — if you have one, disclose it; if not, proceed straight to the Assessment.
4. [**Agree to a confidentiality agreement**](/knowledge-base/assessor-help-guides/confidentiality-agreements.md) — if your organisation requires one.
5. [**Complete the Assessment**](/knowledge-base/assessor-help-guides/completing-an-assessment.md) — review the Application, fill in your Assessment, and submit.

Not every Assessment Round uses every step above — Decisions and Conflicts of Interest are optional features an organisation can turn on per Round; confidentiality agreements are an organisation-wide setting.
